My worries right now are about passing 4th grade because fourth grade is kind of hard. So Ms. Guidry said, "I will help you, but you have to be on your best behavior. " I said, "Yes ma'am!"
So with the help of Ms. Guidry, I have been on the road to a good start. I slipped up on my report card, but I am going to get it back together for this last nine weeks.
This nine weeks, I'm going to be on the A/B honor roll. And that's not an opinion. That is a fact!
So stay in contact friends and associates. Thanks!

Joel's Blog
If I was a teacher for a day, I would let my students eat upstairs and let them watch TV. I would also teach them about Area and Perimeter and the formula for Area and Perimeter.
I would also have to teach my students how to write stories.
I woulod let my students have recess for 55 minutes and then they would come in and read. The students would then have to pack up for the day.
I would have to plan fun activities and lots of stuff to learn in school. I would also tell my students about the rules in class and out of school.

The Wonderful World of Yoel
Some things that worry me are thunderstorms. I am worried that a tree might fall.
I also worry about tornados because they might flip over the school. Another worry is fire. They will hurt you, so be careful and never play with lighters.

What worries me...
The things that worries me the most is my life because I don't want to do drugs or smoke or have problems with my body. I don't want to stop getting good grades either.
When I grow up, another thing I worry about is my children. I worry if they are going to be good in school, if they will have good behavior and will they be a good role model too. I really want my children to take responsibility for their own actions.
I hope you enjoy every second of every word that I write. Comments are appreciated.

Goals
My goals for this nine weeks is to take steps to raise my grades.
The first step I would do to accomplish this goal is to pay attention in class and ask good questions. When you ask questions, you can understand your work better.
The next step would be to work hard because when you don 't work hard, your work turns out to be crappy.
After all this, the most important step is behavior. Try not to get notations and stay focused. When you stay focused, you can get a lot more work done.
I hope you have enjoyed reading my blog. Please continue to read my blogs! Thank you.

Welcome to Ms. Guidry's class!
I am so happy to be in her class. She is a great teacher . If you have kids, bring them to BAC. This is a great school and ask if your kids can be in Ms. Guidry's class when they are in fourth grade.

My Spring Break was good. I went to Zumers and then I went fishing. I also went to Chuck E. Cheese's from my little brother's birthday. When I got back to my Grandma's house, we had an Easter egg hunt. I won because I found 33 eggs.

Over Spring Break, I went to my Grandma's house and we dyed Easter eggs. After that, I went to my aunt's house and we went on an Easter egg hunt. I found 20 dollars in one of the eggs! When we went back to my Grandma's house, she gave me an Easter basket full of candy. She also made me put on a bunny rabbit costume. It was so funny!
That's pretty much all I did over Spring Break, went to my Grandma's house, got a lot of candy, slept and ate.

The Wonderful World of Yoel
My Spring Break was awesome! One reason is because my report card had no F's on it. I had 3 C's and 1B. Because of this, I got a new remote control car. My car went so fast, it went faster than my bike.
When my stepdad told me to put my car in my room, I saw a Wii! I asked my mom, "Who's Wii is that for?" She said, "Yours!" and she showed me the games that went with it.
It was so awesome to have a great report card!

Ms. Guidry
In 4th grade, I learned a lot from Ms. Guidry. In Math, Ms. Guidry is always helping us. She trys to prepare us for the EOGs and gives us problems to solve.
We, as a class, love being in Ms. Guidry's class. We all love Ms. Guidry becuase when we need help, she doesn't say No!

If I were to be teacher for one day, I would teach my Math class about congruent shapes, and polygons. I would also teach about how to write a biography and about chemicals in Science.
For Reading and Writing, I would tell my students to write a book. The book would have to be long enough to be a chapter book. Then my students, could share with their classmates.
At Recess, if my students would do all the right things, they will be allowed to play outside for ONE HOUR!!!

Teacher for a Day
I think that being a teacher for a day would be great because you would be the leader of the class. You would have to first start by going around in a circle and getting to know all your students' names.
I would like to be a teacher because you could be a leader. Second, you could talk to your students about anything... except you couldn't curse! Finally, I would enjoy telling my students what to do.
When I get older, I would consider being a teacher when I grow up!

Vincent's Blog
If I was teacher for a day, my students would ahve to call me, Mr. Jones.
I would make the student do lots of work, so they could get good grades on their report cards. I will also make my students have art time once a week and nobody would be left behind.
I will make my student complete Accelerated Math every day for a grade.
I will have a party at the end of every week, if my students were good, but if they aren't good, they could say, "Good - Bye" to the party I had planned for them!

The steps that I'm going to take to help finish the year off right will be :
1) I'm going to do all my homework
2) I want to study and pull my grades up
3) I also want to pass my EOGs, so that I can go onto the 5th grade.
This is not an opinion..... that is a FACT!

How I Feel About My Fourth Grade Class
I am in fourth grade. My teacher's name is Ms. Guidry. Ms. Guidry is a very good teacher, but sometimes the students in my class gets on her nerves. Sometimes, I wish I could yell or scream! When I wake up in the morning, I don't want to go to school, but a lot of times I really do because we have fun.
Now that I am in fourth grade, I have more responsibilities. Things are not as fair anymore.
In fourth grade, we are taking 4 writing tests on EVERY SUBJECT!!! I like writing, but these tests are getting annoying, but I will not give up!
In fourth grade, all the field trips are way more educational rather than the ones in K-3.
At the beginning of the school year, I thought this class was going to be fantastic, but the students turned out to be naughty. I feel that parents just send their kids to school to get babysitted. I just don't understand how these kids got all the way to fourth grade with their attitudes. Some of them try hard, but some just don't care. Every day I try to have a wonderful day, but something always interrupt it. No matter how hard you try or how good or bad your class is, it is always worth it.
My goals are to go to Harvard and get an 8 year degrees to be a doctor and a soccer player. I promise I will never give up!

4th Grade at a New School
I feel 4th Grade is the coolest grade of all the grades I've been in!
We do very good things in 4th grade. We do fun activities. Ms. Guidry is my teacher. She is very playful and loves to make people laugh by cracking jokes. Ms. Guidry is just an awesome teacher. I am really excited to have her as my teacher for half of this year.
Math is really fun in Ms. Guidry's class. We do Math activities almost every Math class. Last week, we read a book called "The Greedy Triangle". Every angle the triangle would say, "One more angle, and one more side!" We would have to put another angle and another side on our triangle that we made out of toothpicks and marshmellows. We ate the marshmellows are we made our last polygon.
In Reading, we have activities also. We make up questions for the story of the week, and ask the questions to the other team. If the other team gets the answer right, they get a point. Then it is their turn to ask a question and so on. We have a pretty good time in Ms. Guidry's world of famous people.
We also have something called, "Superstars". You have to get three A's in conduct for three weeks in a row. You also have to get every Special Area teacher to sign your contract. The Special Areas are: PE, Art, Computer, Media, Science Lab and Music. We have fun in Specials. On some days, we have two specials.
In Art, we made a mask. We decorated it with feathers, beads and buttons. We made our masks out of clay and the Art teacher, Ms. Callister, hardened it in this little box that had heat inside it. It made the mask hard! If you drop your mask, it would shatter like glass on the floor, or whatever you dropped it on.
Well, that's Ms. Guidry's world! I hope you enjoy reading this from room C-8!

What I Feel About 4th Grade
What I feel about this year in fourth grade is it is great because it is fun! I have an amazing, fun teacher. My teacher loves to have fun and loves to play games. When we play games, sometimes we mess it up, but everyone makes mistakes.
I like this year because 1) I’m like a big kid to the kids that are under my grade. 2) You have to learn more stuff. Finally, I get to meet new people who’s new to this school or a new student in your classroom.
Sometimes, I want to stay in fourth grade forever because it’s soooo fun!

My Fourth Grade Experience
I feel that 4th grade is pretty fun. Well, I would say that some subjects are fun. It’s just that it takes so long to go lunchand recess, and all of my friends are suspended. The only thing that is still good is Math. It’s the best thing ever! No, lunch is the best thing ever!
I don’t really know what I would do without school. Being a class superstar has it’s advantages. Reading is pretty fun too. Now that I my AR goal, it’s a lot better. But this is typical life of a fourth grader.
