How I Feel About My Fourth Grade Class

I am in fourth grade. My teacher's name is Ms. Guidry. Ms. Guidry is a very good teacher, but sometimes the students in my class gets on her nerves. Sometimes, I wish I could yell or scream! When I wake up in the morning, I don't want to go to school, but a lot of times I really do because we have fun.

Now that I am in fourth grade, I have more responsibilities. Things are not as fair anymore.

In fourth grade, we are taking 4 writing tests on EVERY SUBJECT!!! I like writing, but these tests are getting annoying, but I will not give up!

In fourth grade, all the field trips are way more educational rather than the ones in K-3.

At the beginning of the school year, I thought this class was going to be fantastic, but the students turned out to be naughty. I feel that parents just send their kids to school to get babysitted. I just don't understand how these kids got all the way to fourth grade with their attitudes. Some of them try hard, but some just don't care. Every day I try to have a wonderful day, but something always interrupt it. No matter how hard you try or how good or bad your class is, it is always worth it.

My goals are to go to Harvard and get an 8 year degrees to be a doctor and a soccer player. I promise I will never give up!

  4. Jazmin, I loved when you wrote, "Every day I try to have a wonderful day." That is an amazing way to approach life. I am going to start having my class of 4 year olds start the day by saying "lets try to have a wonderful day".

  5. Jazmin,
I enjoyed reading your writing. I'm proud of you for saying that you never give up. When some of your classmates have a less than pleasant attitude - you should set a better example - that way maybe you all can have a wonderful day.
    See you next Monday! :)
